Press release: Shawna Robinson to appear on ESPN2's 'NASCAR Now' show

With much attention now focused on Danica Patrick's foray into NASCAR, ESPN2's daily NASCAR news and information program "NASCAR Now" today will visit with one of the pioneering women of the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The program airs at 5 p.m. Eastern.

Shawna Robinson, who in 1988 became the first woman to win a NASCAR touring series race when she won in the NASCAR Dash Series, will visit with host Mike Massaro on the program's "Way Back Wednesday" segment.

Now out of racing for several years, Robinson will look back on her career that included being the first woman to win a pole position for one of NASCAR's top three series.
