(EDITOR'S NOTE : NNSracing.com takes a look at the five drivers who are competing for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award. Today's driver: Charles Lewandoski.)
Driver: Charles Lewandoski
Date of birth: May 18, 1985
Team: Various (most recently Go Green Racing)
Crew chief: Various
Past racing accomplishments: Youngest winner in NASCAR Late Model division at Stafford Motor Speedway (age 16 in 2002); driver coach for Jeffrey Earnhardt (2007)
Outlook for season: Lewandoski would be a great contender for rookie of the year if he could find a team. He's driven for three teams in three races for three manufacturers so far in 2011. However, not counting the one start-and-park, he finished 21st and 25th, which is around where Truex and Hill are running, if not better.
Tomorrow: Ryan Truex
