Beginning this weekend, there will be a revision to the qualifying procedures for the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
For the STP 300 Nationwide Series race at Chicagoland Speedway and the O'Reilly 250 truck race at Kansas Speedway, the qualifying order will still be determined based upon practice speeds - from slowest to fastest.
But the order will no longer be separated between those teams that are locked into the race and those teams that must qualifying on speed.
