CONCORD, N.C. - Richard Childress Racing's Clint Bowyer, who won the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship in 2008, may not run any races in the series this season.

Bowyer said at the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Media Tour hosted by Charlotte Motor Speedway that unless RCR finds sponsorship for him, he won't run any Nationwide races this year.

"We don’t have a sponsor right now for the Nationwide Series," Bowyer said. "I want to run some races. It’s an important series, it’s a lot of fun to race in. We’re still looking for sponsorship and trying to get that put in place because I want to run some Nationwide races."

RCR will field the No. 21 Chevrolet for sophomore driver John Wes Townley in the full schedule but apparently doesn't have any other rides available.
