How’s it going guys? I am doing well, just getting ready for the weekend in Las Vegas.

I was in the shop quite a bit yesterday and today, chatting with crew chief Eddie Pardue and the guys and going over everything from last weekend in California. That last restart kind of killed our hopes for a top-15 finish, but it was a race where we learned a lot and found some things we can build on for this weekend.

I’m really excited to get to Vegas. It’s a fun city with a lot of stuff going on all the time. I haven’t quite decided what I’m going to do when I get out there, but I’m sure we’ll do a nice dinner somewhere on Thursday night for sure.

Anyone who is going out to Las Vegas a little early, I will be at the ESPN Zone in New York New York on Thursday afternoon for the Raybestos Rookie Cook Off. The chefs at the ESPN Zone are going to give all of us rookies a few cooking tips and then we are going to cook a meal for some kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Las Vegas. It’s a pretty cool deal and I’m real excited to be a part of it.

Well, I hope everyone has a good rest of the week and maybe we’ll see some of you out at the track this weekend.
