Kevin Harvick doesn't plan to run the full Nationwide Series season

NASCAR Nationwide Series owner/driver Kevin Harvick reiterated Wednesday his stance that he will not run the full season in his No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. Chevrolet.

Harvick, speaking on a national teleconference with reporters, repeated what he said in November.

"Our intention is not to run the full season at this point," Harvick said Wednesday.

Harvick is 14th in the Nationwide Series standings after two races, dropping out of last weekend's race at Auto Club Speedway with engine failure.

Could that mean he changes his mind at some point during the season? Of course. And that likely would be sponsor driven.

Harvick said in November he would share the No. 33 with others, including Sprint Cup driver Ryan Newman and KHI Camping World Truck Series driver Ron Hornaday.

Speculation still remains that Harvick will end up running the full Nationwide schedule, though he appeared to answer that Wednesday.
