20 for 20: Joey Logano wins Nationwide Series pole at Nashville

GLADEVILLE, Tenn. – Joey Logano pushed his NASCAR Nationwide Series pole-winning percentage to 20 by qualifying fastest Saturday for the Nashville 300 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Logano won the ninth pole of his young career, coming in his 45th Nationwide race. It also was his second pole of the season.

Logano went 160.415 mph in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, beating Kevin Harvick Inc.’s Kevin Harvick by 0.079 seconds. Harvick went 159.992. Penske Racing’s Justin Allgaier was third at 159.836.

The rest of the top 10: Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Scott Lagasse Jr., Steve Wallace and Trevor Bayne.

Chase Miller, Dennis Setzer, Andy Ponstein, Tim Schendel and Brett Rowe failed to qualify.
