First Nationwide practice at Nashville mirrors points standings

GLADEVILLE, Tenn. – If you like the NASCAR Nationwide Series points standings, you’ll love the first practice Friday at Nashville Superspeedway.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards was first, with Penske Racing’s Brad Keselowski second and Penske’s Justin Allgaier third. That’s the same order as the Nationwide points standings.

Edwards went 157.209 mph, with Keselowski at 156.941 and Allgaier at 156.660.

Braun Racing’s Jason Leffler and Reed Sorenson were fourth and fifth, respectively.
