Jason Leffler's three-race probation matches Carl Edwards' penalty

Braun Racing driver Jason Leffler was placed on probation for the next three NASCAR Nationwide Series races following an incident with James Buescher at Nashville Superspeedway last weekend. Leffler was not penalized further.

The penalty matches the one NASCAR handed to Sprint Cup driver Carl Edwards for dumping Brad Keselowski at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Leffler was hit by Buescher early in the Nashville race and smacked the wall. Leffler returned later in the even and ran into Buescher, and NASCAR deemed it was intentional and parked Leffler.

Leffler’s probation will run until April 28 of this year.
