Cassill will also drive the car at Texas on April 17, Talladega on April 24 and Richmond on April 30.

"Landon is a familiar face at JR Motorsports, and it is with great pleasure that we welcome him back to drive our No. 7 Chevrolets these next few weeks," Kelley Earnhardt said in a press release. "We are committed to keeping this No. 7 team racing as long as possible, because with (crew chief) Tony Eury Jr. and an extremely dedicated group of employees, this team is too good to not be at the race track."

The team also said will sponsor Cassill at Phoenix. is already part of a 10-race primary sponsorship package with the No. 7 team and Danica Patrick this year.

Scott Wimmer took over driving duties of the No. 7 Chevy at Bristol, leading 21 laps and scoring a season-best 10th-place finish on March 20. Wimmer will complete his two-race commitment with the team this Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway. Patrick will return for 10 more races later this year.
