Michael Annett leads Talladega's first Nationwide Series practice

TALLADEGA, Ala. - Germain Racing driver Michael Annett was fastest in the Thursday's first NASCAR Nationwide Series practice at Talladega Superspeedway in preparation for Saturday's Aaron's 312.

Driving the No. 15 Toyota, Annett turned a fast lap of 193.466 mph, edging Front Row Motorsports' Tony Raines. In the No. 34 Chevrolet, Raines' top lap was 193.423.

Penske Racing teammates Justin Allgaier and Brad Keselowski were third and fourth, respectively. Clint Bowyer was fifth.

The rest of the top 10 were Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Trevor Bayne, Kyle Busch and Brendan Gaughan.
