1992: Bobby Labonte wins the Nestle 300, the final NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Lanier Speedway in Gainesville, Ga. Five Nationwide races are run at Lanier, a three-eighths-mile track. Chuck Brown finishes second and Kenny Wallace third. Also noteworthy about this race: The lone driver to fail to qualify for the 28-car field was Atlanta Falcons coach Jerry Granville.
