Denny Hamlin, Joe Gibbs Racing dominate Darlington Nationwide qualifying

DARLINGTON, S.C. - Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin won the pole for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Royal Purple 200 at Darlington Raceway, earning his first pole in two starts in 2010.

Hamlin turned a lap of 176.031 mph in the No. 20 Toyota, edging teammate Kyle Busch, who went 175.754 in the No. 18 Toyota.

Points leader Brad Keselowski was third, with Jamie McMurray fourth and Carl Edwards fifth as Sprint Cup drivers swept the top five.

Justin Allgaier will start sixth, followed by Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Trevor Bayne and Clint Bowyer.

Willie Allen, Johnny Chapman and Morgan Shepherd failed to qualify.
