NASCAR takes 8 Nationwide Series engines for dyno testing

CONCORD, N.C. - NASCAR took eight Nationwide Series engines back to its research and development center after the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

NASCAR does a yearly dynomometer test of engines, spokesperson Tracey Judd said.

Engines taken were the Chevrolets of Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.), Ryan Newman (Phoenix Racing) and Mike Bliss (Key Motorsports), the Toyotas of Joey Logano (Joe Gibbs Racing), Kasey Kahne (Braun Racing) and Michael Annett (Germain Racing), the Dodge of Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) and the Ford of Greg Biffle (Baker Curb Racing).
