NNSracing.com

ESPN says its broadcast of the June 12 NASCAR Nationwide Series Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway earned a final national household coverage rating of 1.4.

That's a 16 percent increase over the 1.2 rating earned in 2009, when the race was shown on ESPN2.

The Kentucky race also marks the first race since the season-opener to have increased ratings. Still, with the large increase at Daytona, ABC/ESPN has seen an overall ratings increase in 2010.

The Kentucky telecast averaged 1,680,722 viewers.
