Justin Lofton second in final Nationwide Series practice at New Hampshire

Baker Curb Racing

LOUDON, N.H. - Justin Lofton finished final practice in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway second quickest to Kevin Harvick. Lofton, who will be making his third career Nationwide Series start in the New England 200 tomorrow, also finished the first practice ranked in the top 10.

"All in all it was a great day," Lofton said. "Having never been raced at New Hampshire before, we came out of the gates much better than I expected. Everyone on the Baker Curb team did a great job. Second practice we had made a few changes to try and make the FFA Organization Ford Fusion a little bit better but the track had changed.

"Ultimately we ended up going back very similar to where we were in the first practice and the car went back to driving great. We turned a pretty good lap on our mock qualifying run and ended the day on a high note. Hopefully, we’ll go out tomorrow have a solid run to back up what we did in practice."
