Key Motorsports announced Thursday morning a last minute arrangement with Sheboygan Chevrolet to partner with the #40 Chevrolet team for Saturday's Bucyrus 200, the NASCAR Nationwide Series inaugural event at Road America.
"We want to thank Sheboygan Chevrolet for coming on board with us this weekend at Road America," said Key Motorsports team owner Curtis Key. "Sheboygan Chevrolet is a reputable dealership near Road America who has a history of supporting motorsports in the area and we encourage race fans to visit them at SheboyganAuto.com or in their showroom. We are excited for the opportunity to work with them and will do our best for them on Saturday."
The Sheboygan Chevrolet No. 40 with driver Mike Bliss arrived in Wisconsin with a guaranteed starting position as a result of their current status in the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings. Currently occupying 22nd, Bliss and crew chief Gary Showalter are looking for a strong performance at Road America that will add to the teams recent momentum with a steady gain in points.
"We appreciate the support of Sheboygan Chevrolet at Road America," commented Bliss. "We have a new car here this weekend and hopefully we can do a good job for them in the race."
The Bucyrus 200 will be televised live on ESPN2, Saturday, June 19, with coverage beginning at 3 pm ET.
