CONCORD, N.C. (6-1-2010) – NASCAR Nationwide Series rookie driver, Sean Caisse, will pilot RAB Racing’s No. 09 Ford Fusion in Saturday’s Federated Auto Parts 300 at Nashville Superspeedway on June 5.
The 24-year-old Pelham, N.H. native made his third start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Nashville Superspeedway in June 2009 piloting the No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing and will be making his second start at the 1.333-mile D-shaped oval this weekend in NASCAR’s second tier division.
Caisse, a 2005 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Rookie of the Year finished second in the East Series standings to Mike Olsen in 2006 and was then runner-up to current Sprint Cup Series driver, Joey Logano in 2007.
In 39 starts in the division Caisse has seven wins, 16 top-5, 24 top-10 and 12 poles including one pole at Nashville Superspeedway in 2007.
The Federated Auto Parts 300 will take the green flag Saturday, June 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern. Race coverage will be televised on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern and also broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) at 7 p.m. Eastern.
