NASCAR Nationwide Series Raybestos Rookie of the Year leader Brian Scott has joined RAB Racing for this weekend's race at Kansas Speedway.
Scott, who was released from the new Turner Motorsports team earlier this week, will be in the No. 09 Ford for Kansas.
"'I'm excited to be going to Kansas this weekend with RAB Racing," Scott said in a press release. "I'm looking forward to working with Scott Zipadelli and the entire RAB Racing crew. Robby Benton and everyone at RAB have worked hard to get the car ready for this weekend, and I'm happy to be associated with such a dedicated group of individuals."
RAB co-owner Robby Benton has used multiple drivers in the No. 09 this season, with Boris Said earning the team's first victory at Montreal last month.
"I'm proud to be in a position to help Brian finish out the year and contend for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors," Benton said. "Our goal is to put him in the best possible situation to showcase his talents. I think the pairing of Brian with Scott Zipadelli and the rest of the RAB Racing team will be a favorable combination."
