AVONDALE, Ariz. - Red Bull Racing development driver Cole Whitt paced the final NASCAR Nationwide Series practice at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday afternoon.

Whitt is attempting to make his Nationwide Series debut. He turned a fast lap of 130.496 mph around PIR's 1-mile oval.

 Whiit edged Jason Leffler, who went 130.086 mph, with Coleman Pressley third at 130.053.

Aric Almirola was fourth, with Martin Truex Jr. fifth. Sixth through 10th were Mike Bliss, Ryan Truex, Justin Allgaier, Brian Scott and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
