Seventh heaven: Joey Logano wins Nationwide pole for Phoenix

AVONDALE, Ariz. - Joey Logano won his seventh NASCAR Nationwide Series pole of the season Saturday and will start first in the Wypall 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Logano went 134.048 mph to start up front for the seventh time in 24 races in 2010.

 

Carl Edwards starts third, with Justin Allgaier fourth and Kevin Harvick fifth. 

Sixth through 10th are Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Steve Wallace, Trevor Bayne and David Gilliland.

 

 

Series champion Brad Keselowski starts 12th as his No. 22 Penske Racing team battles Busch's No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing team for the owners title. JGR leads Penske by 88 points with two races remaining.
