Phoenix race marks second ratings jump in a row

ESPN2's ratings for the Wypall 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway saw a ratings jump of 9.1 percent, the second consecutive ratings increase for the series.

The O'Reilly Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway saw a ratings jump of 22 percent.

The Phoenix race earned a final national household coverage rating of 1.2, averaging 1,597,174 viewers. The rating was up from a 1.1 for last year's race that also aired on ESPN2.
