Poynt Corporation, a global leader in mobile local search and advertising, and Rick Ware Racing announced the company's flagship application, Poynt, will be the official sponsor of RWR in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
Sunoco Rookie of the Year points leader Timmy Hill will drive the Ford No. 15 entry.
Hill will be driving the Poynt Ford in this week's Nationwide Series event at Chicagoland Speedway in the Dollar General 300.
"NASCAR reports they are the No. 1 spectator sport and the No. 2 rated regular-season sport on television," said Andrew Osis, President and CEO of Poynt Corp. "This is the perfect opportunity for Poynt to continue to expand brand awareness in North America by targeting this audience.
"NASCAR fans are some of the most loyal fans in the world and to have this incredible opportunity to put the Poynt brand in front of those fans both at the track and via televised races is extremely exciting."
Poynt Corp. will continue its sponsorship with RWR until the end of the 2011 season.
"We are very excited to have Poynt on the car with Timmy Hill this weekend and for the remainder of the 2011 season," owner Rick Ware said. "Their organization strives on excellence and it is a perfect match for the Rookie of the Year point leader, Timmy Hill. The App is already widely used throughout the country and our organization has been using Poynt for the past several months."
